Saloni became IAS by cracking UPSC through self study without coaching classes, know Saloni’s advice for preparation

It takes years of hard work for the youth to clear UPSC, one of the most prestigious and toughest exam in the country. There are many such youths who clear this difficult exam in the first or second attempt and set an example of success. Similar is the story of Saloni Verma, who brought All India 70th rank in the year 2020. Every aspirant must read the story of Saloni who got success in UPSC with the help of internet and self study.

Coming from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, Saloni studied in Delhi itself. After graduation, he took the path of UPSC. Instead of coaching for preparation, he added on doing self study. Even after failing in the first attempt, he did not look back and raised the flag of success in the second attempt.

For better preparation of UPSC, Saloni first made study material after knowing the potential and interest. According to the study material, he made a strategy and worked on it. Toppers’ interviews and blogs were also helpful. Saloni believes that for UPSC preparation, success can be achieved on the basis of hard work and self study, not coaching. With planning, revision, answer writing practice and positive approach, the candidate will get success in this exam.
