Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer has said that the former England captain Michael Vaughan “doesn’t waste any opportunity” to poke Indian fans with his tweets.
Jaffer who is known for his hilarious presence on social media had got involved in banter several times with Vaughan on social media over several different topics. However, nothing is serious between the former cricketers and the banters on Twitter are most of the time friendly which fans enjoy a lot.
Meanwhile, during an interaction with InsideSports, Former Indian opening batsman Jaffer was asked about his banter with former English skipper Vaughan on social media platforms. Jaffer responded by saying that the former England captain has got a “ habit of doing unnecessary poking” which he doesn’t like at all. Jaffer also took a slight dig at England’s poor performance in Test recently and said everyone knows “how well England have performed”.
“He (Michael Vaughan) has a habit of doing unnecessary poking, which I don’t like. He doesn’t waste any opportunity to tweet something that might poke Indian fans even though we know how well England has performed.”

Jaffer also mentioned that even though Vaughan pokes Indian players a lot the banters between them is a “friendly banter”.

Jaffer also shared a video of the same conversation on his official Twitter handle with the caption:
